There is a bat which is either dead or hibernating on the wall, right above the Mercury apartment entrance within the parking garage. The entrance is located on the third level (near the handicap spots that are labeled in the ā350sā). The bat has been in the same spot for three days and I find that spot is dangerous for residents and for the bat.

To City of Bloomington, I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out on behalf of myself, my roommates, and our neighbors regarding a growing concern in our neighborhood. Every evening, around 4:00 p.m. and continuing through the night, we experience an influx of hundreds of crows flocking to our street and surrounding area. This results in a significant accumulation of bird droppings on our cars, as well as on nearby properties. The volume of droppings has become so excessive that it poses a risk to residents walking or entering their vehicles, as the droppings frequently land on people and properties. While I understand this may sound unusual, the situation has persisted for over two weeks, and we are becoming increasingly concerned about the potential health implications. The sheer volume of droppings is difficult to understate, and we believe it could lead to further issues if left unaddressed. The attached PDF includes proof of others cars as well as a photo of just one area of trees where the crows sit for hours. We would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance on how this matter can be resolved, as we feel it is beginning to impact our quality of life. Thank you for your time and attention to this issue. We look forward to your response.

In Hoosier Acres (E Adair Ln, S Meadowbrook Dr, etc.) there have been several sightings of Coyotes. There is at least one pair with one of the animals appearing to have an injured hind leg. The animals walk by homes and people during daylight without too much fear.

There is a dead possum on High Street between Arden and Queens Way. Last time I called Animal Control concerning a similar issue no one came to assist, so I am hopeful that this is a better way to get this addressed.
