New business at this site is putting up a large sign on the roof of the building.
The old District 9 building has a new business located there with a new sign
Images in thread has "LOGO" advertizement banner on railing.
Also, was wondering if this sign is compliant with city ordinance (img_1073.jpg and img_1074,jpg). It is a banner mounted with bungee cords on the rail and has been in place for over a month. It is at 817 W 17th.
IU "Trident" logo has been incorporated into the roof design of 817 N. Washington, a rental house managed by "Cream and Crimson" properties (a small local company that is not affiliated with the University.) Is this a violation of any City signage ordinances (size, placement, trademark infringement, etc.)? It is unsightly.
illegal temp sign - sign on back of building. Pak Mail
Several banners, signs up on and around store, in r.o.w. No temp sign permit. Sprint Store
There is a sign advertising an AirBnB rental attached to a tree on the property at 813 Kirkwood Ave. The tree is one of two on either side of the alley next to the property, and is located on the berm between the street and the sidewalk, and so appears to be in the city's Right of Way. As far as I understand it, this signage is in violation of the Bloomington Municipal Code, Title 12 (Streets, Sidewalks, and Storm Drains), Chapter 24.080 (Trees and Flora), Ord. 08-06 ยง 2 (part), 2008) - Prohibited actions, which states "(2) No person shall do any of the following to trees subject to these provisions: (b) Attach any wires, nails, chains, cables, advertising posters or any other contrivance" I would appreciate it if the city removed this sign and prevented such actions by the landlord in the future.
Groovy Grotto has several temporary signs on property and in right of way.
