One of the purposes of UDO's section 'Signs' is 'to avoid unneccessary proliferation of signs'. There still are close to 20 blue 'Light the Way' signs on E First Street between Woodlawn and Eagleson. The promised 'signage sweep by Planning staff' must not have taken place yet. 'Light the Way' Sign at this corner is attached to a fence, which is not allowed.

The promised 'signage sweep by Planning staff' (March 18, 2025 quote) must not have taken place yet. The sign at 1320 E First in the grass next to the sidewalk is illegal, according to the Elevate map. Property does not extend all the way to the sidewalk.
