A tree with a broken branch that we reported to you folks back in May has finally snapped and is hanging from old Christmas lights over a high traffic area & parking spot in front of J.L. Water's & Co.
There is a tree, i have continued issuing complaints about, in front of metal works that is dying and falling over. Since i have been here for just one year the tree has fallen quite a bit more, its now to the point it has raised the entire sidewalk from road to the building and isnt stopping. The sidewalk cant be ground down anymore as the raise of the sidewalk has become too high. On the building side, it has raised the sidewalk all the way to my handicapped ramp and doesnt not seem it will stop anytime soon. On the street side, it has now made such a high difference between the sidewalk and the curb that people trip over all the time. The tree is dying and there is constantly branches and debris all over cars. Before anymore damage occurs, especially to the building and the handicapped ramp, along with the entire sidewalk itself, can it please be removed? On this stretch of 6th street every old dying tree has been replaced but much smaller reasonable trees except this one, and just one other further up to the square. Not only would removing these old decrepit damage causing trees be very benefifial to society especially the handicapped, but to replace these two dying trees with smaller matching trees would make our street more beautiful and noticeable and over all safer for everyone. The tree on the corner of the street and drive is dying and has been dropping limbs.
The street tree in front of our office was removed a few years ago and not replaced. The tree plot is a bit of a trip hazard without a tree. Can one be planted in place of the tree that was removed. I believe it was a Linden that was there and it was great!
Young tree in ROW between road and sidewalk obstructing sidewalk use. Just needs a pruning of lower branches.
This tree cracked during the last storm on June 18th. The crack is about 3 feet long. This is posing a hazard to life and property. Please remove asap.
There are two dogwood trees on the sidewalk that have lots of weeds growing at the base and desperately need to be watered.
The Davis St. right of way, just south of my property is forested. I know that the city doesn't normally tend to the trees in this strip, but it's public property. I write because of two particular dead trees in this area--one a hazard to utility wires, the other temporarily leaning against a live tree but will eventually fall on our fence.May I show you these dead trees and ask if the city would be willing to remove them before they damage our property and the public utility lines?
Large limb from tree broke and fell in windstorm. Limb has been moved to the side of the road.
Fallen tree branch across Hawthorne Dr. Branches have been cut and pushed to side of street (in front of 1025 and 1019), but need to be cleared off.
