Missing stop sign at Fee Lane and Law Lane. Thanks Jill.
Missing street signs in the intersection of E First Street and S Woodlawn Ave
The white traffic pylons were installed in such a way that there is now only one lane, with oncoming traffic, to turn into. This makes the intersection more dangerous, and I have seen several near-accidents there because there used to be a second west-bound lane to turn onto from Mitchell. Surely this was a mistake--the pylons could have been installed in such a way as to guarantee immediate access to Third St. from Mitchell, with no chance of a merging accident, and allowing merging further west.
Top of street sign at the corner or West Kirkwood and Waldron has been knocked over. Needs to be repaired.
Street sign at S Hillsdale Dr and 4th Street is damaged
Traveling east down 3rd street/46, heading toward the intersection with College mall road it is nearly impossible to travel straight through the intersection on a green light because there is always left turning traffic blocking the intersection due to backups on college mall road. I waited four light cycles and eventually had to abort my trip and turn right because it was apparent it wasn't going to be possible to continue through the intersection. This was at 11am on a Sunday. Please address this chronic issue. It is both frustrating and dangerous.
The intersection of 7th and Dunn has become incredibly dangerous since the removal of the stop signs on 7th St cross streets. There has already been at least one accident. A stop sign *at least* at this intersection, if not every second cross street, is a necessity for public safety.
Resident reports that the stop sign at the intersection of 7th and Indiana is on the left side of the road and believes that it is against regulations to not have one on the right side. Additionally, resident reports that the stop sign at 7th and Woodlawn is also not in compliance due to exceeding height limitations. The resident expressed his concern that there would be traffic accidents because of the home football game if these signs were not adjusted.
Sign and tree were hit by a car Friday evening, October 1. Sign is down. Tree is damaged and appears to be on city property. Bland’s towing removed the car from the property Saturday morning.
