Cafe Thistle has a flag that is blocking the sidewalk. It would be disorienting for a blind person to run into.

There are large stones blocking the sidewalk on the north side of 2nd, a bit west of Wendy’s and also closer to the trail. You wouldn’t leave barriers in the roads. Why do you leave them on sidewalks? Thank you.
The fields were all locked. Me and my toddler like to work on base running and using the little playground in there. Don't understand why they are locked. There were clearly no reservations and the fence height isn't of insufficient height to prevent entrance of someone who wanted to get in. So seems redundant and a waste of resources to leave them locked (who wants to have to come unlock them). If you could leave them unlocked during the day when there are no reservations that would be great. It is important to me to have the space to explore the sport of baseball with my children.

While I am happy that a path was made, the plate in the middle of the sidewalk creates both a trip hazard and an impediment to anyone using a wheelchair or other mobility aid
Had to ramp up and down each floor of the garage up to 5th due to festival, game, etc overloading area with vehicles. No elevator in service for months. When will this be fixed? That is unacceptable for lack of accessibility in the Morton garage.

There is still a hole in the sidewalk near the steps. It’s quite deep. I’ve complained before. Sometimes it’s covered with a cone but then the cone goes away. Why can’t the city put a true cover on this tripping hazard? Thank you.
The ADA requires that sidewalks be firm, stable and slip-resistant. Numerous bricks that make up the downtown sidewalk are loose or missing. I saw an older woman trip on one of these in front of Fountain Square this week. I helped her up and when her husband took her to the ER because she may have broken her ankle. When it’s wet, these sidewalks are slippery than concrete sidewalks. They look nice but they are hazardous. At the least, the city needs to do a better job of maintaining them. Thank you.
The post office on S. Walnut St. has no disabled accessible sidewalk or way to get into the building from the sidewalk on Walnut Street. You have to walk in the road in the parking lot to get to the door of the post office because there’s no sidewalk connecting the sidewalk on Walnut Street to the front door of the building. I got run into buy a car backing out of a parking spot today and I’m a blind person using a white cane for mobility.
