There are two large dead trees in front of 400 S. High Street. They have been dead for more than a year. They pose a fire hazard as well as a risk of injury and damage to property should they fall.

The house next door to ours (currently vacant and for sale) has overgrown trees that are dead and falling down. Two cars have had either broken windows or mirrors, and all cars have sustained scratches from these trees. We are wondering what can be done to take the trees down. My next door neighbor, Carl James, (at 703 W. 7th Street) burns trash and plastic and Styrofoam in his wood stove. The smoke is heavy, black and acrid. It is polluting the air. I think there must be regulations against burning trash like this. We have asked him not to do this and explained to him that it creates toxins in the air. A group of neighbors chipped in and bought him two ricks of wood recently, but his son took most of it and resold it. We do not know what else to do. Can someone from the City talk to him about this? Tried to include photo but request hung up. 507 W. Dixie Street has entire yard (front and back) crammed with debris. HAND volunteers tried to clean it up but owner and homeless brought in more faster than they could get rid of it. House is fire hazzard due to being filled with debris and only front door usable. No other exit usable. Rats have been seen on property. Owner is Al Hines who is on psycho drugs for Schitsaphrena. this apears to be situation of Adult Protective Services Thank you
