Vegetation blocking sidewalk on north side of fairview just west of fairview/11th st train bridge.
Vegetation blocking sidewalk on south side of 11th st, just west of fairview / train bridge.
Co-live site, 14th& college. Mud on sidewalk, sand on sidewalk, truck bumper overhanging sidewalk. Erosion barrier still fubared.
West sidewalk on rogers st just north of 10th st / B-line heights (pedcore project). They're using this vacant lot as a staging area for the trades district garage. They often park overhanging the sidewalk. This trailer hitch is a daily problem. The transportation plan calls for a 1.5ft shy zone beside sidewalks, and municipal code explicitly bans parking on unimproved surfaces. So can we get at least 1.5ft here!!! The photo is from yesterday but the situation is the same today.
Tree branches fell on sidewalk.
There is always a car parked here blocking the entrance to the Winslow rd sidepath. It’s clearly marked for no parking with yellow lines. It’s not obvious why they prefer to park on top of the yellow lines instead of parallel parking both cars on the North side of the street. They do seem to be making an effort to leave space for walkers to get through but never enough space for a bike pulling a trailer
On E Second, close to the corner of Woodscrest and E Second, there are low overhanging branches on the footpath next to the school grounds. Pedestrians have to duck to avoid them.
For more than a year now, the sidewalk in front of new apartment construction just South of the 10th st. and Smith Rd. intersection has been regularly occupied and blocked by cars and trucks associated with the construction. There is considerable pedestrian traffic on this walkway, and citizens are forced to walk into the street by the blockage. As the construction has progresse, parking for workers and owners has become available underneath and beside the structure, but sidewalk parking seems to be preferred, particularly by the owners/supervisors. Please have them remove their vehicles, and clean the sidewalk.
Hello - The sidewalk along Parrish between North Kinzer and Arlington Heights School is blocked in several places by overgrown vegetation. Would it be possible to check and see who is responsible (City? Homeowners?) and to see what can be done to make the sidewalk passable again? Thanks much!
