Sidewalk is blocked by multiple cars daily (usually more cars are parked behind the red truck). This causes pedestrians to have to walk on the street on a frequently used thru street.
There is constantly a truck on the sidewalk, and currently another car parked directly on the sidewalk. This issue has been raised multiple times to parking enforcement and to the police department. At best they are told to move and then they go right back to parking on and blocking the sidewalk. If this was anywhere downtown or near campus they would be cited and towed, but I walk with my child to Broadview Park and I am forced to walk in the dangerous intersection (the danger is apparent considering people park on the sidewalk so their cars don’t get hit). I want this on record in as many places as possible because if an accident does happen involving a pedestrian being struck by a speeding vehicle taking that turn, I want both the property owner’s and city’s negligence to be well documented. New BRU burger building has multiple downspouts that drain directly onto the Grant Street sidewalk. I don't believe this is allowed with new construction?
Pretty significant hazard. The "Reverse angle only" parking sign has finally succumbed to the blow from a bad parker and is now lying across the sidewalk. It's still firmly enough attached to the base that it's not possible to pick it up and move it parallel to the curb. The other similar signs on the same block are also showing signs of fatigue
