The fire hydrant on Jordan, between the Delta Gamma house and the parking garage has been open, pouring water into the street all weekend and is still doing so. This is a gross waste of the city's clean water.

I received this email from Rachel Atz while I was on vacation: "I just spoke with a lady about our dead-end flushing program and she also included that she is having some issues with drainage behind her house and wanted to talk to someone about what she could do to improve it. She said she was willing to pay for it to be fixed, but didn't know what the best solution would be or if she even owned the property/was responsible for it. I told her I would pass the information on to our engineering department and someone would call her to discuss further. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. Her address is 4629 E. Behind our property there are depressed areas in the field which appear to be getting bigger. During a recent rain storm my daughter indicated that you could hear water running under them. Not entirely clear if they are directly over the drainage piping that runs into our back yard/creek-bed but they're close enough that if one of the pipes was cracked or compromised it would likely create a sink hole. Would like to have someone come check it out just to make sure that it's safe to be around.

Water draining across the yard and down the sidewalk at 1220 E Hunter. It was spewing out intermittently Wednesday morning (Feb 23 2022). Is that a violation of municipal code 12.04.020 - Discharge of water on sidewalk? It is unlawful for any person owning or controlling any building in the city adjacent to an improved sidewalk to permit water to run from a downspout attached to such building onto and over such sidewalk. (Prior code § 23-4). It was likely to freeze and make walking hazardous. Thank you.

There is a drain in my backyard in which water from all my neighbors yard drains into during rain and heavy storm. The ground around the drain has sunk in due to the heavy run off over the years. Need to know if this would be fixed by the city?

Flooding/Standing water accumulates between the street and our fence. Looks like this may be part of the easement. This photo was taken in January, but it is a continuous issue whenever it rains. Can you please contact me to discuss this? Thank you!
