After removing a significant amount of honeysuckle that had completely overgrown this stormwater easement on our property (4101 E. Morningside Dr), I discovered this severely damaged storm drainage pipe. Upon further investigation, it is clear that the land under our property has eroded away, and as far as 6-8 feet in the only thing holding our land up is our fence and the plant root systems. The street behind us experiences constant drainage issues, and the damage to my property is significant.

There is a water leak at approximately 734 N. Woodbridge Dr. It started on Sunday morning, and to my knowledge, no one has tried to fix it. Our apartment complex is aware of the issue, but the leak has continued to run for four days. So far, at least 5,000 gallons of water have been wasted.

Storm drainage (and even some lighter rainstorms) has repeatedly been eroding and flooding our backyard and street. The recent storms have heightened our concern at the impact runoff water and debris is having on our home/yard, our neighbors yard, and the street below us. The elevation of our yard and street is lower than that of the woods behind us and the street above us (Georgetown Road). All of the water from these locations has eroded channels and pools in their yards, guiding the water into our yard. The water pools in our backyard, increasingly threatening our house. In addition to the large volume of water this forces on our yard and street, we are bombarded by leaves, large sticks, and other misc. debris. This debris clogs the sewer drains at the other end of our street and clutters the street. The amount of water runoff continues to increase on a daily rate and has started to erode dirt in both our and our neighbors front lawns, leading us to believe that increased drainage at the street above or our street are required. If not, alternate solutions and suggestions are requested. If city help is not possible, than approval for commercial drainage/directing of the water through our yard and into the street is requested for approval. Sediment is impeding/stopping flow of storm water runoff from our drive/parking lot into drainage swale. Storm water is backing up because of this into our drive/parking lot during rain events.

I called last Sunday (the 9th) about (clay-colored) water coming up from under pavement and a roaring noise underneath in middle of 800 block of S. Park. Someone promptly came as I was driving out of town. I took this photo yesterday. Please let me know what more will be done. (I have learned that a stream flows under the street there.) Thanks!

A resident called about runoff "behind the AT&T store on Willis." He said that he attempted to call utilities about it multiple times but the woman answering the phones was not helpful and claimed that it was the OOTM's oversight and not theirs. He did not want to leave his name or contact information with us. I'm not sure what the process looks like for this, but if someone could check on the water runoff in this area, I think it would be helpful. We have received a few emails about it as well.
