In Meadowood Subdivision, there is a street light at approximately 1011 E. Sassafras Circle that is blinking off for 10 minutes before flickering in and out. This street light is at the end of the pond. Homeowner states that it is the only white bulb light, all the rest are an amber light. Reporting this was Shannon Storm 812-325-1581. I strongly feel there are many streets in Bloomington that are not sufficiently lit and pose danger to drivers and pedestrians. Many side streets off of Third Street Woodlawn, Faculty, Arbutus, Rose, and others have almost no light once you turn off from Third Street. This makes it difficult to see pedestrians and increases the chance of accidents.

I live at 601 N Walnut Street. The cross walks there (corner of 10th and Walnut) have pedestrian safety crossing buttons and speakers that beep. However, these beeps constantly (24 hours a day) not just when a button is pushed. I can hear it inside my apartment with the windows closed, in my bedroom with the door closed and a pillow over my head. I understand it is a safety feature, but is there a way to fix it so it only beeps when a pedestrian pushes the button to cross the street?
