Vehicles driving east on Grimes often stop in the middle of the road (rather than in their "lane") at the stop sign at Woodlawn. This makes it impossible to turn onto Grimes from Woodlawn until they have moved on, leading to difficult and unpredictable traffic situations. Would it be possible to put a center line here on Grimes, just for the intersection and the approach to it? To encourage drivers on Grimes to be in their lane when they stop at the intersection.

Westbound traffic on E Hillside congests at the S Walnut and E Hillside traffic light, which often causes backups and results in traffic blocking the E Hillside and S Washington intersection. Can there be a “do not block intersection” or one of the roadway painted Xs placed at that intersection? This has happened to me numerous times, and I get frustrated and honk, and E Hillside drivers either ignore me, or give me a mean look like this was my fault when they’re blocking the roadway.

The light at 2nd and Patterson needs a longer left turn signal, going from Patterson onto 2nd street. The time of the turn light is way too short. This has been a problem for years. I was the 6th car back in the turn line this morning and had to wait THREE LIGHT CYCLES to even make it through. Please make it a turn signal longer. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is are several crosswalks on Allen St. that are very hard to see at night. The lines could use reflective coating or blinking lights to help them be visible by car headlights at night.

Need street-surface traffic direction arrows painted in the 2 lanes of S. Clarizz heading north. I have seen people make the right-hand lane into a left-hand turn onto East 3rd St.
Please see pic of suggested arrows. The yellow marks are the direction available besides a right turn. Tx!

Can we extend the left turn arrow interval for west bound Patterson onto Rogers so more than three cars can make it through the intersection while Country Club is closed?

There are a lot of kids in the area that are playing in the street, but there are no signs indicating that they are out there. He said that there are many issues with people speeding down the road and his children have had close calls with vehicles.
They are asking for kid or speed warning signs to be placed on this street to mitigate the traffic.

I am requesting speed bumps for Covenanter Drive, between College Mall Road and Clarizz Blvd. This is residential area with two large apartment complexes. It's also a heavily traveled road for buses, bikes and vehicles, as well, as pedestrians. Many use it as a way to cut through the area or to reach nearby apartment complexes, the mall, the large Kroger, or medical offices.
Speeding is a concern. Line of sight can also be issue with two bus stops, curbside parking, the road's curve and change in elevation.
I think speed bumps would help the issue, just like it has done on Covenanter Drive, going west from College Mall to High Street.

Eastbound traffic is reported as often blowing through the stop sign - either not noticing it and/or unable to anticipate it, creating unsafe conditions at the intersection.

The construction on Rhorer and Gordon Pike has pushed a lot of the thru-traffic on the South side to East Burks Dr., resulting in a traffic load that the small, curved road wasn't designed for. More cars are coming through, and not always at a safe speed.
This issue is highlighted by the fact that currently, there are no signs prohibiting parking on either side of Burks Dr., so residents park on both sides of the street. This creates a one-lane road that has to accommodate a large traffic load (relative to it's design). Some residents have even taken to parking large tractor/trailer vehicles on the road, which almost completely eliminates visibility of oncoming traffic as you round the bend going from west-to-east.
My suggestion is to please restrict parking to the east-to-west side of the street, and post "No Parking" signs on the west-to-east side of the street. This allows for the greatest visibility for both sides of traffic, and also maintains two-way traffic, an important element to South side transportation with alternate routes still under construction.
