Can you look at installing a dead end sign at the intersection of S. Hathaway Ct. and E. Cathcart Drive? Cars keep driving thru the neighborhood in an attempt to get to the parking lot at Southest Park and many turn around in the driveways of the houses on Hathaway.
At least half a dozen times since the new bike lanes were created on Third Street near Jordan Avenue, I have been driving westbound on Third Street, stopped at the light at Jordan, in the right lane, with my right turn signal on, only to have someone pass me on the right, driving in the bike lane (and sometimes proceeding to turn right on red at a "No turn on red" sign). I saw two cars in a row do this today. The lane markings seem clear enough to me, but a lot of people are evidently not understanding them. Can anything be done to make it clearer that that is not a drive lane?
At the intersection of East 10th street and N Smith Rd, N Smith R gets very backed up because traffic does not stop on East 10th. If someone wants to turn left, they have to wait for traffic coming from both ways. There is one lane on N Smith Road so traffic becomes backed up very quickly when someone needs to turn left. This happens especially in the afternoon. Traffic can become so backed up it extends past Meadow Park Apartments, nearing a hill. This can be dangerous when cars cannot see the stopped traffic until after coming over the hill.
Please install a traffic light at Winslow and Highland. At times, it takes forever to turn onto Winslow from Highland. Overall, it is a dangerous crossing because cars cannot see each other when cars are approaching east bound on Highland because there is a hill that blocks all view--they can't see and people turning off of Highland can't see.

The new light in front of the the Twin Lakes Recreation center has backed up traffic a lot especially during peak travel times, morning and evening rush hour commutes. I have lived in Oakdale Square apartments for over 4 years and the amount of extra time it takes to get to and from work (I work at IU) has increase by 5-10 minutes because of the light. As a suggestion I think the light should be a yellow flasher for Bloomfield road traffic between the hours of 7am-9am and 4pm-6pm. This would decrease the amount the traffic can back up in this area.
At the Atwater & Mitchell intersection Atwater becomes two-way going east towards High Street. Before the recent resurfacing of Atwater there was a painted arrow on Atwater Street just before Mitchell to warn drivers they had to turn left onto Mitchell. I have seen drivers on multiple occasions recently continuing on Atwater after crossing Mitchell driving on the wrong side of the road. Painted arrows and signs would be helpful at this intersection. I think there is no street sign on 3rd St for Johnson Dr. Also, why are there "No Outlet" signs on Johnson & Kimble? Usually these mean the same as "Dead End" - that you can only come out the street you went in. This is not the case. I was heading west, going to Valhalla. I thought I was at Johnson Ave, but did not see a street sign, and the "No Outlet" sign made me think it was not Johnson. Soon came Kimble, so we turned in there and were surprised to see a "No Outlet" sign there, too.

Traffic's been unusually bad at the Hillside & High traffic light this week due to the Sare Road closure. High is being used as a detour. This is problematic since Childs school drop-off (8:30-9) and pick-up (3:30-4) result in lengthy back-ups at the High & Hillside intersection. Can someone be assigned to direct traffic at this intersection during those high periods of use while the Sare construction is happening?
