wondering if you might consider bike lanes or a widened shoulder next time north Kinser Pike is repaved. It's a popular route to reach the Bottoms and as a driver and biker, I'd appreciate the added safety.

We need a speed bump on Allen, in between S. Patterson and Fairview. People drive very fast down the hill west of Patterson towards Fairview, right into a residential area where there are many young children and children waiting for the schoolbus

The view of oncoming traffic is obscured at this intersect by the residences. I have not been in or witnessed a collision, but I believe that safety is a concern. I believe that any misfortune might be mitigated with the posting of stop signs or the placement of convex traffic mirrors. The surrounding residences are property of Indiana University. I am a lessee of one of these properties- 824 1/2 East Cottage Grove Avenue.

Could the city look into removing the temporary sign at the corner of Pete Ellis Drive and Third Street that direct motorists to the various shops in the Barnes & Noble and Best Buy shopping centers? I believe this sign was placed during contruction on the 3rd Street and 46 Bypass construction to help motorists navigate into these shops. Now that construction is complete, can this unneeded sign please be removed?

Hello. You might recall that I recently asked the City about removing this sign; you stated it was the jurisdiction of the State. Here's my request to them and their reply from June 18. I doubt this is a legal sign from understanding past history. Can you remove this unneeded sign and alleviate sign pollution?
Can you please look into removing the temporary sign that was installed on SR46 in Bloomington at its intersection with Pete Ellis Drive? The sign points directions to local businesses whose entrances were affected during last year's SR46 Bloomington bypass construction project. This sign is located on the NW corner of SR46 (East Third Street) and Pete Ellis Drive. It's obvious this sign was meant to be temporary, and now that construction is complete it should be removed.
Dear Mr. Arvesen,
I sent your concerns to our Construction Department. They state that the temporary sign in question is not a sign that INDOT and/or the Contractor working on the State Road 46 Bypass project installed. This is a sign that the shopping center had made and installed. You would need to contact the shopping center management to have this sign removed because it is a sign that they had installed, not INDOT.
Our Construction Department has also sent an email to the City of Bloomington to notify them of your concerns about this sign.

I'm new to Bloomington, currently residing on S Park Ave, so I'm not sure if the following has already been reported. I often find it frustrating that there is not a 4-way stop on at the "intersection" of 2nd st and S Park Ave. This isn't a typical intersection as 2nd street dead-ends into S Park causing drivers to have to turn right or left to continue on 2nd, depending on their direction. I realize that 2nd street has more traffic than S Park however traffic often gets backed up when drivers don't know who has the right-away. I've witness several close calls. I'm just looking for some feedback to see if this has been investigated and/or if anything can be done to address it.
Many thanks for your time and consideration!

Can a "No Left Turn" sign be placed at Union St when heading south at the 3rd street intersection? Drivers constantly try to turn left there, impeding traffic and causing dangerous situations. The heavy 3rd street traffic makes it near impossible to turn left (East). Individuals will wait 10-15 minutes to turn or eventually give up. Drivers can be seen pulling in front of other drivers attempting to make their way in.
Thank you and have a great day.
