Melissa Grange called me and said the ditch in front of her house was clogged with debris after the recent rain. She would like it cleared.
Water backing up fast out of storm gutters—water in house not working. Urgent! In front of 1911 e Wexley rd
pipe broke, lesk in the kitchen and not sewer.
This storm drain is full of debris. I have attempted to clean it out, but to no avail. The curb and pavement surrounding it are also deteriorating and probably contributing to the issue. This street sees a lot of stormwater and this drain backs up quite a bit during heavy rain... This photo was taken 1/30 with only very light precipitation. The adjacent storm ditch pipe may also be clogged? I hope this can be repaired soon (prior to spring). It has been in this condition for at least 4 years and multiple neighbors have voiced concerns in the past.
During the rain event on Wednesday evening (Jan 18), I notice significant water standing at the NE corner of 3rd and College. Several cars, including mine, moved into the center lane (west bound) on 3rd, to ensure that the rising water would not come into contact with the car. Can the drain at that NE corner/intersection be checked/cleared? This is the second time I have experienced this at that intersection, this year.
The water pump at the bottom of Azalea Lane has its hazard light and sound going off
connected sewer line over flowing
The two drain covers on 7th at Dunn are loose and make a racket. Can someone provide an update on the status of the repair?
We are contacting you with hopes of getting some advice regarding the storm water stream that runs along E Vernon Ave in Matlock Heights neighborhood. There is a storm/ rain water stream( path) that runs under N Dunn Rd , goes west on E Vernon Ave and under Fritz Dr and eventually goes into a larger creek. Over the past few years this pathway has been deteriorating with some of the road erosion happening right before the water goes into the culvert under our driveway. The previous owner of our property added some rocks and blocks but it does not solve the road erosion problem. We are needing guidance and help since we do not know how to address the erosion and also the public road. We have addressed this issue on March 14th and this is the response we have received almost a month later on April 6th From: Katherine Zaiger <katherine.zaiger@bloomington.in.gov> Sent: Wednesday, April 6, 2022 5:01:13 PM To: Mihaela Lee <mihaelalee@hotmail.com> Subject: Re: [stormwater] 410 E Vernon Ave Mihaela, Thank you for checking in on this. We did have our crew go out and assess. They determined that they do need to do some trenching in this ditch to improve the issue. We have added it to our work order list and will get to it as soon as we are able. The crew came and assessed the situation on 03/14 but we have not heard anything else since then. I did not know if there is anything else we need to do. Thank you, Mihaela
