Mr. Meetz called on 3/19/15 to report a damaged storm pipe that has separated and is starting to slide down into a drainage ditch. Also, a hole has formed in their yard over the pipe.

On the south side of Winslow at the west side of Piccadilly there has been progressive erosion where the drain pipe goes under Piccadilly. Whenever we get a strong rain for five or ten minutes the ditch backs up on the east side of Piccadilly and does not flow freely under the road. The erosion mentioned has noticeably progressed this year and if left unabated the road will eventually be at risk of breaking at its edge. Also, be aware that the heavy rains flood the east side ditch and form a pool over the sidewalk which also spills out onto Winslow. We can see this from our home. Many storm drains and curbs look like this in neighborhood after winter going into weekend of massive rain. The no leaf collection is a fine idea, but there needs to be follow-up street sweeping or repercussions for people who don’t clear their curbs and drains.
