Ms. Aslami left a voice mail on 11/26/13. I returned her call on 11/27/13. She was difficult to understand but I believe she said she has water that comes up from their garage drain when it rains hard and she wants the city to fix it.
Clogged storm drain
My Name is Josh Goodman and I live at 2821 E Tapps Turn, 47401. My gutters drain into an underground drain tile system (pvc pipe) and, as best as I can tell, this system drains east to west, runs under my backyard, and then hooks into the storm sewer (somewhere underground) on the east side of Sare Rd just north of where Buttonwood Rd intersects Sare Rd. I've been having issues for a while with the system backing up causing water to bubble out of the drain tile and down into the ground right next to the house. This tends to only happen during medium to heavy downpours. I had Roto Rooter come out with their pressurized water snake and camera and we cleaned out the entire system up until the point where it enters the storm sewer, but the issue still persists. There was a little bit of debris (leaves, etc.) but nothing that would cause the issue I'm seeing. Would it be possible for someone in the Utility Department to come out to my property to take a look to see if there is anything that can be done on the City's side to remedy this issue? Storm drain is backing up and water is starting to reach his front steps.
The concrete retaining wall to the side of this culvert has broken off and fallen onto the stream and bank. First noticed on February 18th but I couldn't get a picture.
All city storm inlets needs to be clean in the RoseWood at Hyde Park neighborhood.
The dirt has settled around a drain pipe from a previous repair. Supervisor said CBU crew will add more dirt to correct the problem. I called the customer to let her know the status.
On July 30 I took a video of a Man spraying 2 feet above the creek on college mall road. I called utility that week to make a report and the environmental spill extension a Man I forget his name never returned my call. I find it unacceptable when city employees paid by tax dollars don’t even return phone calls
Customer wants a hole next to the storm drain repaired.
