Storm drain casement junction is clogged with branches. You can see it through the heavy iron grid on the drain at the SW corner of Southdowns and Ballantine. It will require lifting the grid cover the clear out.
I have traveled High Street between Arden Rd. and 3rd Street twice a day for the last ten years. Every time there is a heavy rain, water accumulates and flows down High Street between E. Mores Pike and 2nd St. forcing me to move to the other lane to avoid going through large amounts of water creating a very unsafe situation. I was delighted to see this section of High Street repaved last summer and noticed the sewers also being worked on. I assumed, incorrectly, that the runoff problem would be corrected during this maintenance project. Since the paving the runoff has actually gotten worse. Are there plans to fix this unsafe situation so cars can travel safely on High Street without endangering drivers and pedestrians? I regularly see in the Herald Times where is city is allocating and spending money on hiking and biking trails, sidewalks and various pedestrian conveniences. The storm ditch is not graded properly, so the ditch flows into my yard and towards my house when it rains heavily. The ditch has also gotten overrun with debris, further exacerbating the issue.

We have city built ditches/basin along the streets for rainwater drainage in the area. I recently noticed there is a big hole in the middle of the ditch, lots of the water goes into that hole when it rains, looks like it keeps getting worse. Can you send someone to take a look, and get the hole patched please? On W. 9th St at the gutter drain just to the west of the BUtler Park Community gardens Parking lot, there is an increasingly large hole that I fear a person, bike, or eventually a car might fall into.
The storm drain between 1019 and 1017 w 6th st isn't draining. Water is flowing on top of it.
The storm drain that sits in the curb cut for my driveway is sinking. I can see fallen bricks through the grate. The road surface and sidewalk are both crumbling around it. I am worried that the drain grate may collapse.
The water pump at the bottom of Azalea Lane has its hazard light and sound going off
The city of Bloomington Winslow Woods property behind my home has a culvert that is completely obstructed by downed trees. When it rains, the storm drainage from Azalea Lane runs into this intermittent creek in the woods and through the culverts. When the water cannot get through the culverts, it starts to flood our backyards. Because of additional downed trees before the culverts silt and clay has started to accumulate and further block water flow. I have requested in the past that the city take care of the trees on their property and the storm drainage flow from Azalea Lane. I could also see a removal of the culverts as there is no reason they are there.
