We have recently launched a new website dedicated to educating patients and families about mesothelioma, a deadly cancer caused by asbestos. Not only does our website serve as a resource, but we also have a downloadable booklet for patients and caregivers to print and keep as a reference. It is available for immediate download, opposed to waiting for something in the mail as other websites do. For the people who need it, time is of the essence. I wanted to report a pothole, so I first looked under "Streets", but there was no place there for potholes. I then looked under "Hazards", but there wasn't a place there either. I finally found it under "Most Popular". It's OK to put things under "Most Popular", but they also should be under the category that they logically fit under.

Just discovered the inRoads website via the article in the HT the other day. I clicked on the schedule to see what roads are involved in and had to page down. It seems that the newest/current items should be at the top.

Just spent a few minutes playing with INRoads -- well done, guys! It's great to be able to have a global view of what street work is coming up that will impact traffic. Side benefit is seeing how much Public Works is doing for us -- they've gotten a bad rap the past couple years.
