I tried to sign up for city email newsletters, but every single one got an "authorization failed" notice when I clicked on "join this group." I tried it from two different email addresses, and it still seems not to have worked.

At this location on the City website (http://bloomington.in.gov/documents/viewDocument.php?document_id=3030)would you please update the information about Centerstone? Centerstone has an extensive supportive housing continuum for adults with serious mental illness who are receiving clinical services from our clinics. I find the city website rather difficult to use, and aesthetically, it isn't very pleasing. Personally, I find that it is in need of some updates and remodeling - it looks rather aged, and has many outdated links in pages. I am often very interesting in economic and park development, as well as future projects and proposals to the development of the city - such as the Certified Technology Park, and the Switchyard Park development. I hope to see a site redesign that streamlines everything, makes it beautifully simple, and highlights "new" news regarding city events and developments, while archiving some of the older events and developments.

RE Downtown Parking Web page, under Metering Hours it says 4th St. Garage is free on Saturday IN DECEMBER. Scroll down to "Downtown Garages" and it says 4th St. Garage is "free all day on weekends." Question: If the garage is free all day on weekends, why does it imply it's free only in December?

I'm writing to you on behalf of my daughter, Natalie. We lost our dog, Jazz, a few months ago, but thankfully found her after a week. Natalie is working on a community project for girl scouts that involves helping others keep their pets safe. Your page, http://bloomington.in.gov/animal-shelter/lost-pets, was a great help to her. Just wanted to say thanks!! I also wanted to let you know about another page that Natalie has been using on tracking dogs with GPS: https://www.teletracnavman.com/gps-fleet-tracking-education/tracking-your-dog-with-gps . Can you add this to your page? She said it has been very useful and thought it would help someone else avoid losing a pet. :-) If you have any advice for Natalie, I'll make sure to pass it on to her. Thanks again, and have a great rest of the summer! Best, Alyssa (and Natalie) Riggs

To the Department of Transportation, Could you please update me on what is going on with the traffic light in front of Batchelor Middle School at the corner of Gordon Pike and S. Rogers Street? For a while this summer it functioned as a traffic light rather than a four-way stop. I assumed that when school started it would be used as a traffic light again. In addition, I was told at the Batchelor Open House that the city has told the school they can't use the new lane they installed to allow traffic to flow through at drop off time (7:30-7:45). I understand the hesitation with using this lane, as it could upset the north/ south traffic. However, I have noticed after a week of drop-offs, that there is rarely any traffic going south on Rogers at that time. Perhaps the lane could be opened to right hand turns only. If the traffic light were used during that time period it would help the traffic flow much more smoothly. It is currently backed up a quarter mile south on Rogers and west on Gordon Pike which would be eased by a traffic light at that time of day. I am sure many other BMS parents and south side commuters would love to know what is going on with this intersection. Thanks, Eve Cusack

It would be nice if there were a calender of events at Bryan Park and Bryan Park pool. If there is it is so well hidden that I could no find it. The park web site says that there are many events at the pool and park but does not list when they occur.
