For over a year the apartment complex has been dumping all of their debris out of all the apartments including mattresses beeping smoke alarms blankets lots of food. Anything left over in the apartments. This is created a great number of rodents and insects. We feel this should not be so close to the apartments especially what the items maintenance is throwing in there including chemicals. The rodents increased tremendously from the semi bed container.
Caller to HAND says that there is trash in the front yard of the property and in the back yard there are logs, a grill and other items too close to the property line.
Owners are putting kitty litter in the corner of the backyard and is seeping under my fence. Please have them remove the kitty litter and place is trash receptacle.
Frat house at 702 E. Third St. has tires disposed in back yard next to dumpsters. This is easily visible from alley behind the property.
Excessive junk and home waste on outside of property. Appears to be a health hazard as well as an eyesore to the community.

This building has had a rat infestation for the past 10 years. The building is managed by Granite Student Living. There are bait traps placed around the building but these have not been helping. The rats are coming into the house, they are in the walls, and they are even entering living spaces through holes in the floor and holes in cabinets. The rat population at this location is growing due to the condition of the dumpster on site (see attached photo). The dumpster sits open with no lid, is often overflowing, and sits inside a wooden structure that the rats are using to climb up and into the dumpster. The house itself has not been completely sealed up from the outside to take away access points either. Additionally, there is no lighting in the back parking lot between the house and the dumpster, which creates an environment for rats to thrive, and also presents a safety concern for tenants. Granite has been made aware of these concerns but they have already stated "there are no plans to change lighting or the trash situation." Please have this matter looked into.
