On the B-Line just north of 6th Street, on Saturday mornings there are a few people who block the B-Line Trail during farmers market hours. They set up this obtrusive wooden platform right on the trail. It causes a lot of congestion for trail users in a very busy part of the B-Line. Can someone enforce rules that prevent people from blocking the trail like this? They can setup their board in the grass or somewhere else that is not impeding safe pedestrian and bicycle use of the pedestrian and bicycle trail (which is not a stage for their private and individual use). Maybe they can show up early enough to sign up to busk in the Farmers Market rather than clogging up the flow of people? Check it out. Saturday mornings, B-Line and 6th. Guest came into WonderLab having found sharps on the trail near the janeway statue. There are piles of abandoned belongings around the side entrance to our WonderGarden on the trail. This is a safety issue for our guests and staff.

There is a hazardous sheet metal sculpture of a chicken setting on flat pavement adjacent to the B-Line. It is between Kirkwood Ave and Sixth St. When riding a bicycle on the B-Line here it is easy to veer over onto this adjacent pavement. The chicken's sheet metal wattles hang down so that they can be right in the path of a cyclist's head. Two different cyclists have told me that they have collided with these sheet metal chicken wattles. In both cases their helmets prevented serious injury. One of the cyclists showed me that their helmet was messed up by the collision. Something should be done to eliminate this situation.
