Please include a map at the City's site for the rail trail like the one for the Clear Cteek trail. I don't need an app, just across map. Thanks!

The entire length of the Clear Creek Trail from Tapp Road to Church Lane needs serious tree trimming work. The number of branches obstructing the path is quite high all throughout the trail. It's dangerous as people dodge branches.
I would like to request that the "volunteer" workers that are cutting new trails into a state-designated nature preserve across from my home be stopped immediately. The state designates "nature preserve" land to be preserved for natural ecological functions. It's the highest protection the state can place on natural land. These "volunteers" are cutting new trails which increases the spread of invasive species. The ecological integrity of these precious few acres is already compromised by the proximity to homes and these new and poorly designed trails are adding to the stress and degradation of this natural space. They are using lawn mowers and power tools which disrupt nesting bird habitats. They cut one Asian Honeysuckle allowing several more to take its place. Trash bags with refuse are left for weeks by these volunteers. I understand that the intentions are to remove invasives but what is actually occurring does nothing but spread the same invasives. It is a misguided effort and needs to cease immediately. I have a Master's degree in Park and Public Land Management from IU and have seen this happen numerous times in other locations. In this case it seems that a small group of volunteers desired a walking trail next to their neighborhood and began "volunteering" to create these trails. While not a big deal on private land, these particular lands are designated by the state for the highest protection possible. I would be more than happy to discuss this further and suggest some alternative activities for this group of volunteers. You have my email and I hope we can come to a resolution that will stop the infringement of these state-protected lands. Thank you for your time.
Trails heading west are degrading in condition. Several large cracks and empty voids along the trail. Also Limbs along the trail are ridiculously low. Several are less than 5 feet off the ground and need trimmed. They need to be at least 6 feet up so people of average height can travel without issues of getting smacked in the face with tree limbs that are soaking wet. Please resolve both issues

Hello, I left a message for the Marketing person in Parks and Rec last week asking for permission to use a photo of the B-Line or Clear Creek trail. Just following up to see if someone can assist. Hello-- Once a week a group of us run on the Rail Trail...we are primarily a collection of faculty from IU who really enjoy the trails that P&R provide (THANKS). We are also truly a multi-generational group...with a couple of our members ALWAYS....and I do mean always....mentioning how nice they thought it was to see a plaque honoring George Heise and others near the bridge at the end of the Rail Trail. George was a longtime member of the Psychology department and a colleague/teacher for many in our group. So, they were very saddened to see that the plaque has been stolen. I've attached a picture of where it used to be, and hope you could find it in the budget to replace it. I'd appreciate a response. Thanks again. Rob
Large poison ivy is growing at the entrance to the rails to trails path. Specifically, it is on the fence on the East side/corner of the parking lot, along the sidewalk - growing out, towards the sidewalk. I know what it is (and to avoid it), but not everyone would. Could it be sprayed to kill it? (One time when I think the weed is worse than the poison needed to remove it!) Thank you.
Cynthia owns property just north of Bryan Park at 818 E Maxwell. On Bryan Park property just south of her property there are 4 drainage tiles that have collapsed. Holes are 6-12in deep in area that has not been mowed.
To whom it may concern, We are thinking about buying a property in The Stands that borders the Goat Farm property and the Jackson Creek Trail. I was wondering what the rules and regulations, if any, are for building a trail on our property that would connect with the park property. Any information you can give would be appreciated. Thanks so much, Allison Stites 773-304-6832
