The swim lessons my child just completed at Bryan Park Pool were very poor. First of all, the instructor did not teach them anything. There was no instruction, the kids were just told "do X" but weren't given steps how to do it. The class was supposed to be 45 minutes, but they changed it to 30 minutes--which I believe was due to the inexperience of the instructor, she didn't know what to do with the kids. The rules about make-up classes needs to change, we paid full price for 3 classes instead of 8 due to the weather, which most of the days they still had class despite the fact that it was raining/storming/freezing! Completely disappointed, would not recommend these classes to anyone.

Friday, July 25th 7:30pm. Mr. Smith observed the department's green bus turn around in his neighbors driveway, across the street from Mr. Smith's house. While backing up the bus, the back of the bus pushed over wooden a birdfeeder and hanging yard decoration in Mr. Smith's front yard (1411 W. 17th St. No damage but Mr. Smith had to put both objects back upright. The bus drove away. There is a barricade on 17th St. eastside of Lindberg. Signage said closed to thru traffic. It is also a dead end street with no room to turn around.

The concrete apron, on the rails to trails Bridge, located 1.5 miles from Tapp Head, has an abrupt raised edge (peaks at 1.25") If someone could reduce the impact zone, I think that would be less of a liability for all who traverse. I am trying to register for a Parks & Rec community event. The website says that I need to have an account. When I try to register for an account, it will not allow me to do so because the Phone #1 field (which is mandatory) is not working properly. As soon as you move to another field, the phone number disappears. I re-entered it multiple times and it will not stay in the field. I tried 3 different browsers all with the same result. At this time, I am unable to register for an account on the city webtrac.bloomington.in.gov/ site or register and pay for the event that I am trying to attend.

Frank Southern Ice Arena: Disappointing that the frank is closed during summer. Cant play any pick-up/drop-in hockey unless you want to drive to Columbus (who's open year-round). I understand its probably expensive to operate, but if we could even get an outdoor roller hockey rink somewhere that would be fantastic. Just a thought.

Unfortunately we are three weeks into the baseball season and the batting cages are still not setup at the Winslow Sports Complex. The kids have had no opportunity to practice batting, many of which are new to baseball and this is critical for getting them prepared for the first game and may impact their willingness to participate. Youth sports is such an important part of the community and having a good first experience is important. I would like to know what is causing the delay of the batting cage setup and when they are expected to be completed. Thank you.
