Commending Raye Cox and her team for quickly responding to and professionally resolving a meter parking towed car problem on S Washington today. I was very impressed with their concern and proactive response. Ken Ritchie

Appealing a parking ticket
I put in two $1 coins in Parking meter 7628, and it didn’t change from the red blinking.
Parking spot lines on Madison St / 7th St need to be repainted. I've submitted 4-5 Ureports on this since 2018 and been told it would be taken care of each time. This isn't even my car in the picture, but I'm not sure how you can keep ticketing people here. The spots are not marked at all. Parking Enforcement has become very aggressive on this block despite no efforts to improve anything in 6+ years.
i got the ticket after paying at the kiosk. Sometimes when i swipe the card it doesn.t read it until i finally slowly get it to work. always making sure it said completed.
App-only paid street parking (without a meter option) is a problematic equity issue for people who wish to park downtown. People who do not have a smart phone or a credit card are more likely to be from lower-income households. Providing meter options that accept coins is a relatively simple and traditional solution. How will the City address this equity issue in a timely manner?
