In reference to case number 161348. I still have not gotten a response and submitted on 9/28. This is a hinderance since I still do not have parking due to the discrepencies between your website and the map hanging in the parking dept. office.

Last night I tried for an hour to upload the required documents for a residential parking permit for my son’s car. The system rejects both pdfs and jpegs repeatedly. Today, I came to city hall to get the permit in person, and I was redirected to parking services on south walnut. When I arrived — at 12:45p — only one person appeared to be in the office, and she was unable to process the request and give me a residential parking permit. She indicated that the “person who could handle it,” was at lunch and would return at 1:30p. Like many, I presume, I used my own lunch hour to make an in-person visit to obtain a required residential parking permit. Staffing choices and, essentially, an office closure during a Bloomington resident’s traditional lunch hour seems inefficient and ineffective. I am standing in the parking office awaiting the return of, seemingly, the one person who can process my permit request.

My old car which is registered to park in Bloomington does not work anymore and I'm getting rid of it. I am getting a new car for the next few weeks to replace the old one. Can I use the sticker on the old car and put it in the new one to park on the street or can I not do that since I didn't register with the city?

Hello, i am writing to get more information on parking permits for downtown employees. I currently work on Kirkwood ave. I and my co-workers currently park in a "3 hour free" parking alot behind out building we are very busy with clients during the day and do not always have time to run out to pay the parking lot. I personally average $20-$80 a week in parking tickets. I would much rather spend that money on a month/yearly parking pass. Is there any that are available?
Thank you,
-Tara Langley

I am in the process of planning our office closure in Bloomington and have a question related to the alley that is located to the west of our current building.
What would I need to request for the alley to be partially closed for a day or two for a moving truck to be parked there while we move out furniture?

322 E Tenth St. is not listed as a residence that qualifies for a residential parking permit on https://bloomington.in.gov/mybloomington
The house directly adjacent to 322 E Tenth St., 530 N Grant St., is listed on the website as being within city limits, so I was wondering why this rental property was not included in this permit coverage. My roommates and I for the 2024-2025 school year are looking to purchase parking passes and are experiencing issues in the application process. Since the property was initially listed as a duplex, I have tried 322 1/2 E Tenth, but that did not work on the website.
