I am a homeowner here in the city. Unexpectedly my neighbor trenched And waterproofed his basement. The trench was between our houses, Which are close together. I asked him if he needed a Permit. He said no. Is he right?
On the south side of Winslow, between Walnut Pike and the Mexican restaurant there are tree limbs blocking the use of the sidewalk. The evergreen trees are the worst of the problem. I have to crouch down very low to avoid hitting my head on the branches.
Hello, I'm reaching out on behalf of my employer Hanapin Marketing. We currently reside in the Showers complex at 501 N. Morton Street, and our employees share the Showers Red Parking Lot with County employees. Over the last 6 months, we have all noticed a rise in crime in the parking lot, particularly with theft. I've attached several police reports that have been filed in the last few months to support these claims. These are the incidents that were reported to the police, however, there have been others as well that were never filed. For example, in early January one of our employees had his door handle ripped off his car entirely. We are hoping that the city will notice this trend and assist us in our request to advocate for higher security and/or additional patrols in that area to deter thefts. It's been over a month since we moved into the apartment, and it has been hot. The AC does not work on the first floor. I have called them, added maintenance issues but they aren't fixing anything! Please help!

The grass in the front yard of this property has been cut once this summer and the back yard has never been cut. Dick has called HAND (Carol Jack) many times and has only received 1 returned phone call. He was told that Carol would put a hang tag on the door of this property- it never happened. He called 9/12/97 and was told that the tag would be placed on the door ASAP. According to him, this is not satisfactory behavior from Dept. HE WANTS A RESPNSE FROM MAYOR OR HIS ADMINISTRATION.
She has just moved to Collins Living Learning Center and as a D5 dorm parking permit. She needs another permit in order to park her car around Collins and not receive a ticket.
On the north side of E. Smith Ave, roughly 25 yards west of the intersection with Henderson, there is a tree that is covered with poison ivy vines. The vines now hang over the sidewalk, making it difficult to walk on the sidewalk without bumping into poison ivy leaves.
I wish to report a code violation regarding overgrowth and grass length at 537 N. Plymouth Road in Park Ridge East. The code states that anything greater than 8" is in violation. The front yard is grown up with weeds taller than this. The back yard is MUCH more of a problem with overgrowth even taller than the front yard. We are concerned about mosquitoes and other such problems as a result of this overgrowth. We would appreciate the City giving them a slight nudge to take care of this yard maintenance issue.
