Concerning mosquitoes My back yard is next to RCA Park, right next to the detention pond. What is done with the detention pond area to prevent mosquitoes, and can I be of help? I live at 1200 W Countryside Lane. When I typed in my address, the map covered the "submit" button. Thank you, Anita

708 West 8th St. (corner of 8th & Fairview St.) is rarely mowed, is overgrown with invasives- in the front and sidewalk- trees like Chinese elm, poison ivy, Asian bush honeysuckle are growing out of a limestone wall falling onto the sidewalk part on Fairview. Come August kids will walk to school and the whole legnth of that sidewalk including the house on 9th and Fairview has plants coming onto the sidewalk.

There is a derelict house at 410 S Highland. Almost every night (it's 9:45 now) people are using a mini front loader and moving stuff around and there's an enormous trailer parked in the street. It would be great to know what the heck is the future of this eyesore. Thanks
