Could you please ask the landlord at 402 E 1st Street to clean up the leaves in their front yard? Twice now, their leaves have blown onto my property at 404 E 1st Street. I had my yard cleaned before Thanksgiving and again today, December 14. As you can see from the photo, my property (on the left) is well-maintained, while 402 (on the right) is not. I would appreciate it if the landlord could take responsibility and maintain the property in a way that reflects good neighborly behavior. FYI: I do not have trees on my front or side yards. A report from a neighbor identifying a storm culvert issue: a bicycle is in the ditch and about to enter the storm drain area that runs under the N. Glenwood West street. Need COB staff to pull the object out of the storm culvert and dispose of it. Thanks - Neighbor report to me: In addition to leaves clogging pipes on Morningside that have sent water and leaves into the street, Matt has a red bicycle stuck in the concrete chute emptying water from his front yard into the ditch and the exit under the street. It needs to be dragged out of there before it goes into the culvert under Glenwood West.

There are several camps across the street from our house and now liter is literally all over the place there is one directly behind these three run down abandoned houses that we see them not only introveniously and smoking out of glass pipes but they argue in the middle of the night people are always burning trash as well so it really stinks a lot of the time and people are now coming into our yard looking around and we actually had to put a fence up becaue of all this

Reference: U Report #199670 Per Raye Anne Cox, "12/16/2024 08:58:33 Closed by Raye Ann Cox The vehicle will receive a pink tow warning today, if not moved in 3 days, it will be towed on Thursday (12/19/24) morning. This is the process we must follow per the City Ordinance for Parking Services." The VW Scirocco is still parked outside my house at 404 E 1st Street. Please tell me when it will be removed. Per Ms. Cox, it was scheduled to be towed on DEC 19th; this has not occurred. The vehicle has been here since the Thanksgiving holiday.

When the street light was installed a few weeks ago, the company working for Bloomington had to come back and cut into the boulevard and the street. They patch the street but left the hole in the boulevard. I don't know if they're done: if they are they should come back and fill in the hole. If not they should come back and rope it off. The hole appears to go under to street. There are residents walking and could step into the hole and get hurt, possibly sprain and ankle or fall. Please note this corner is also a pick site for students riding the bus.

In the alleyway behind 1502 E University St, a large dead tree just fell southward (away from the electric wires). Upon my request, a neighbor just moved a section that was blocking S. Swain. This clump of trees had had other sections fall in the last year and municipal or power-line workers removed sections of it but the entire cluster needs to come down since it is a hazard to those of us who walk down S. Swain. Right now the rotted dead tree is lying on the ground.
