Mrs. Werner called in regard to the Halloween activities that are provided by the City. She really liked the "Enchanted Forest", and feels that the current events scheduled center too much on horror, murder and overall negative ideas for children, especially young children! "When you see what's going on with children/young adults these days, the last thing the City needs to be doing is promoting such evil activity." She would like to see Halloween activities to be more like the "E.F.".
Mr. Alcorn is upset about vendor trucks parking on 3rd Street to deliver goods. He believes that they should not block one lane. He said the truck was parked at 631 East 3rd street- which does not have a alley behind the house. They also have a small parking lot.

Newcomer to Bloomington, attended tour of City Hall w/Mayor & Julio. Wants to know if Hyde Park has a neighborhood/homeowner's assn. Also - her lot runs to one of the walls along Sare Road. Tree and brush maintenance questions about whether they're in city ROW -- who's responsible to maintain?
Martha Stewart has someone who will knock on her door and then runaway. This happens about twice a night. She has called the police many times and nothing has been done.
Mr. Stewart & his wife are upset reg: the $75,000 that's going to be used for the Farmer's Market. They feel that "you're fixing something that isn't broke." They like the F's.M. jus the way it is in the old place, b/c the crowd's more vibrant. Now, they'll have that much farther to walk, and the $ could go to the skating rink to improve the ventilation with fans, by decreasing carbon monoxide for the kids.
Ms. Goodman has called the police three separate times to complain about people sleeping/living in 9th Street Park. She says that every morning people are sleeping all over the entire park.
