Mr. Wheeler telephoned SG and discussed problem of fluctuation in pressure at Meadow Wood retirement center. Stated water pressure varies anywhere from25psi to 60psi on a daily basis. Also said the variation occurs with such force a loud "booming" noise can be heard in the water line to the complex. SG advised Tom Staley of the problem and Tom is investigating.

Mrs. John's is extremely disturbed at the idea of the D.A.R.E. program NOT being continued in the shools. She feels this is an extremely important program and doesn't want to see it come to an end. "It's unimaginable!" (Talked to Elaine Helms who explained that Chief Kennedy is the person she needs to speak to but that he's gone until 10/18.
