Mr. Flanders called to seek action from the Police Department regarding his alleged assault and battery he received from a woman. He believes several different people are telling lies about him and trying to get him in trouble. He apparently was also told the matter had been turned over to the Prosecutor. I spoke with Elaine Helms on 8/20, she informed me this info would be given to the Police officer in charge of that case.
Trees hanging over into the roadway needs cut back.
Frasier stated that she had talked with Tom Todd last year about this problem. The water runoff from East Side Drive goes across her driveway and pools there. The water has caused potholes to form at the end of her drive. She put up a fence to prevent people from parking in her yard. She wondered if the City would, therefore, fill in the potholes for her. Usually I'm don't usually complain about the police department as you all do amazing work around the city. But this morning had to be the most terrifying thing I've encountered. At about 6:45am I'm getting ready to take my dog out, and whenever I take her out before daylight I'm always aware of my surroundings, as I'm always afraid something is going to happen, and in this city you never know. I open the door to go out and noticed my dog is a little more anxious than usually. An out of the corner of my eye I notice this man in all black coming up from behind my house in my yard, and between my car and the neighbors fence doesn't say one word to me as noted it was dark out. Now at this point being in dark clothing and in my yard, I literally thought I was going to have a panic attack cause i had no idea who it was and hurried my dog back inside. Had literally no idea this dude was a police officer as he didn't say a word to me and on that side of the house you can't see his patrol car. So when I go back in and calm myself down, I look out the window towards the other side of my house and notice his patrol car. I don't mind the police being in my yard for whatever reason but at least they could of done was said something when I walked out. Is this standard for you to be in someones yard and not announce yourself? I dont know cause I'm not a police officer. But it would have been great to know as they literally scared me. Complainant stated this was an illegal rental, many code violations, some dangerous; new structure - owner claimed it would be his private dwelling, wired by owner.

On 7/6/2024, I created uReport Case #191203 to request the removal of storm-related fallen tree debris from the front of my house. I see that that case has been closed, but no one ever came to remove the debris.
A tree that is adjacent to W Allen Street (between S Adams Street and S Larkspur Lane) has snapped and is resting on another tree. I'm concerned it will fall further onto the sidewalk and onto our backyard fence.
