Poison ivy near sidewalk, 609 University
This Honda vehicle with California plates is parked on the property of Fairview United Methodist Church, 600 W. 6th Street. It probably belongs to the renter of the brick house in the background. I am a Trustee of FUMC and we would like to have the vehicle removed from our parking lot.
Citizen says TCI was called nearly 3 weeks ago about unburied cable. Says portion of the cable has been laying across Duncan Drive (600 block) with cars driving over it for that whole time. Now the cable has been cut by a crew mowing grass.
Very tall grass at 600 W. Kirkwood Ave. needs to be cut.
The grass in this empty lot is at least 18-20 inches tall.
Large tree limb from recent storms. Cut it up in manageable pieces, but too large for our yard waste. I piled it up behind our blue barn next to alley.
WANTS SEWER LATERAL LOCATED, HAS HIS SEWER MACHINE STUCK IN LINE
The house appears to be abandoned and someone has broken open the front and rear doors. Someone has also broken the windshield of the abandoned car in the backyard. The accumulating trash suggests a squatter. The property needs a major cleanup and secure doors and windows.
At the new parking garage being built on N. Rogers Street by the Mill, they start bringing their vehicles at 3am which wouldn’t be a big deal minus the warning sounds such as backing up and their horns. Can you please direct them as to the noise ordinance applying to construction sites before 6am? I live at the apts across the street and it wakes me up frequently at 3.
