Crosswalk sign at 2nd and Rogers is not working. It’s the north/south crosswalk on the west side. People waited through several cycles and it never gave people a walk signal. The East/west one on the south side did seem to be working.

There appears to be a small homeless camp in the backyard behind the unoccupied house with a tent and two abandoned vehicles. The house itself has been vacant for many years and none of the people staying there seem to be entering the home. A relative of the people who own the house, a man named Bob, began staying in the backyard over a year ago, but he has since left and other people are now staying there in his absence. Recently, neighbors have found human feces and needles in their yard nearby, creating sanitary concerns, as well as heard a woman yelling in what sounded like distress at night. Outreach to the family of the property owner has not been successful so far, so I’m hoping someone could please look into this situation. Thank you!

504 W Dixie St, Bloomington. House has not been lived in for over a decade. Two abandoned vehicles in back yard are being used as shelter for a person who is apparently unhoused and unrelated to deceased owner and her family. The site is a mess with belongings strewn over the entire yard. It is unclear how human waste is being dealt with. Within the last week, curtains have been hung around the front porch to inhibit view to front door. I believe the unhoused person or person have gained unauthorized access to the house through this or the back door, because a window along the east alley side that has been covered with blind and curtain for over a decade now has the curtain pulled back. One can also see through the east vent into the attic that there is a hole in the attic roof, making it accessible to animals. This situation has become untenable, and a hazard for sanitation as well as the perceived safety of me and other neighbors.

Catherine did not pay the "unregistered fee" for $105.00 at this time because she doesn't understand how it could be applicable to her, and has requested that someone explain it to her. She states that neither her nor her husband received any notification that they had to register with the COB, until HAND notified them this summer, stating that you had to register to rent. Hello, I am one of the owners of Scout’s Honor Pet Retreat located at 511 W 11th Street. Over the last few days we have noticed a growing camp of unhoused persons in the trees on the southwest corner of Rogers and 11th, right next to our facility. We have had employees approached being asked for rides and have noticed a lot of trash being left around. We are asking that this encampment be looked into for the safety of our customers and employees, the health of our business, and the cleanliness of the area.
