VOLUNTEER NETWORK ISSUE: I tried to use the Volunteer Network to sign up for ushering Cardinal Stage events. I had completed all usher slots in the Cardinal sign up, then found out that it is now via Volunteer Network. I tried to complete usher sign up, for the shows I had already done sign up for, and made a huge mess. I believe I am now registered for every Cardinal show of Garfield EXCEPT the one I wanted. Please remove me from all the shows I have signed up to usher as it appears in the Volunteer Network.. re: case #160131 According to BPD at about 8:30pm, after numerous phone calls about a dead deer lying in the street at this address, animal control has been notified and are on it.10:00 pm and deer is still there.

I live at 1431 N Kinser pike but happen to notice a dead deer at the rear of the property at 1427 N Kinser pk.Have tried to contact animal control but that is useless. Something needs to be done about this situation!

Hello, I would like to give feedback on some unfortunate observations recently on Kirkwood Avenue and the surrounding streets. This took place last Friday evening around 8:30. We took a stroll after dinner to walk around the downtown area, and it was the first time in 20 years of living here, I felt unsafe. I witnessed people doing drugs, drinking on the street, and what appeared to be a drug deal, right on Kirkwood. I have to say I have come to expect public intoxication from college age students, but I think the police do a very good job of handling those cases. The people involved in the activities I mentioned are not college students. Most looked like they could be homeless or struggling in some way. I understand there is no easy solution. These people need therapy, but they have to be willing to try to improve their lives. I'm not advocating arresting the people. I do think a stronger police presence is needed in these busy areas. I'd recommend posting cadets or others in uniforms strategically in the area. Maybe better lighting and security cameras would help. Thanks, Aaron Perry

A few weeks ago someone spraypainted the side of this house. It appears that the vinyl siding was replaced with siding from the back of the house. Because now the back of the house is exposed. Besides this, the house has mold growing all along the side of the house. Horrible shape.
