Mr. Sanders is upset with Insight's automated message system. He telephoned Insight about the letter enclosed in his June billing statement. Scott Cooley was unavailable for comment. This complaint was received by Patricia George.
after first call modem was replaced & orig. problem repaired; now experiences periodic interruptions in internet connection (30s to 1min) almost every evening. problem never occured before; left message with Patrick Cannon again - has never been called back.
Last Wed., Sept 5, he started experiencing difficulty with his internet connection. The modem would drop the connection; he would reset it, and it work for about ten minutes, and then drop the connection again. He contacted Insight using both the 1-800# for @HOME services and a second number he had for Patrick Cannon. The rep who helped him at the 1-800# simply entered the complaint in the system and no action was taken. He only got voice mail for Cannon.
I am writing you with concerns about work being done around the city by AT&T subcontractors to lay fiber optics cable around the city. Should you talk to individuals in several neighborhoods where they have worked there is dissatisfaction. The subcontractors have at times leaving large scars across the properties of homeowners for which they then failed to make adequate repairs. Part of our sprinkling system no longer works. One of our neighbors has a 30 to 40 foot long scar across the side of his yard and the subcontractors buried both the meter for his water as well as one drain pipe from his gutters (I am including photographs). In talking to the Hallmark Management Corporation, we are not the only homeowners association that has had these kinds of experiences. I have tried to reach out to AT&T and was given assurances that I would hear back from them in an effort to resolve the situation. I have never heard back. I know the representatives from Hallmark have also been trying to reach out to AT&T without success, Can the City help to reach out to AT&T and raise these issues. HOSE FROM PUMP RUNNING INTO CREEK IN REAR OF HER HOUSE, IT IS MAKING NOISE
Our neighborhood, Bachelor Heights, has been without AT&T fiber internet since Oct 15th at 12:00pm. My family has called AT&T three times: They cannot tell us why this is happening or when it will be resolved. This is a huge disruption to all remote workers who live in our area. - Was this related due to the new intersection closure at Gordon Pike/Wickens? - When will AT&T restore our fiber internet?
