These heaps of gravel can be found on E. Second, going towards the wooden foot bridge. I have no idea where they come from. However, next time there is a good downpour they will most likely be washed down the hill to the drain at the intersection of Eastside and the church parking lot, causing the intersection to flood.
Can the city sweeper come to sweep them up?
Thanks,

No problem. Doe with three fawns live somewhere in back yards of 1800 block homes, south side of E. Hunter ave. Just thought the deer tagging/ monitoring people would be interested.

This is my 3rd complaint about dogs barking and howling during the day and at night. I have received answers from Animal Control that the owners promised to get park colors. Either they are not working or it did not happen. We need our sleep at night, and we want to enjoy our yard during the day. One of our neighbors has recordings and has also filed multiple complaints. We would really like your help, again. And please do not placate us again that you have talked to the owners. They seem reticent to input.
All of us look forward to a permanent solution.
Thank you,

This is an over-occupancy complaint. The house at 501 South Arbutus appears to be inhabited by more than three unrelated adults.

2 'abandoned' vehicles: Red Ford truck and white Ford SUV. These vehicles have been there for weeks now, have not moved an inch. Residents at nearby houses are starting to complain that their guests cannot find a parking place because these 2 vehicles are parked there permanently. Especially the Red truck has been there a multiple of 3 days without having moved. City Ordinance 15.04.020 states that this means the vehicles are considered 'abandoned'. The owner at 612 Eastside Drive either needs to park these vehicles somewhere else where they can sit for weeks and months on end, or be made aware that he needs to move them every 3 days, so as not to be in violation of the City Ordinance. The Parking Officer drives by several times a day, so it should not be too hard to see that these vehicles just sit there and sit there.

In October, when fiber optic line was being laid in our neighborhood, the installers inadvertently ran it through our sewer line. A few days later, the breached line backed sewage into our house. We hired plumbers to snake and inspect the line and we were able to see the blockage was caused by the fiber optic line. The fiber optic installers created a patch around our sewer line, but we were stuck with a $700+ plumbing bill. We feel that the fiber optic line installers should reimburse us for the plumbing bill, but can’t connect with anyone. A guy named Mike Nally, who seemed to be a supervisor, took our info and pics of the problem and promised to pass them on, but we’ve never heard from anyone. Can you connect us to someone who can arrange for us to be reimbursed? I have tried to attach a photo of the bill as well as of the camera shots of the blocked sewer line.

There are many, many, many cats and a few dogs within a chain link fence on East First Street one block from the playground of Binford elementary. The yard reeks of cat urine and the dogs bark constantly. The small white dog is not made to be out in cold weather. He barks pitifully. These animals do not appear to be well cared for at all and are a nuisance to the neighborhood. Please, please do something about this.

The constant barking and howling of dogs keeps us from being able to sleep. We were tolerable up to a point, but the daily and nightly noise is just intolerable.
