There is a homeless camp behind our subdivision, Shady Acres at 708 S.Cory Lane. They have been walking through here to access the main roads. Stephen was asking about the city's response to Malibou house as he is a resident of the street on which one of their houses is located and expressed that he is already dealing with the effects of slummy properties, and this is making it much more difficult to deal with. He complained about noise, traffic, and the overall parking nightmare that has become of his culdesac.
Enormous tree with predominantly dead limbs is a hazard to those of us walking past on a regular basis. The owner needs to remove this ongoing threat.
The house appears to be abandoned and someone has broken open the front and rear doors. Someone has also broken the windshield of the abandoned car in the backyard. The accumulating trash suggests a squatter. The property needs a major cleanup and secure doors and windows.

With the weather and trespassing occurring at the I address, you need to get the owner's attention to lock it up and also care for it in a consistent manner. It has evidence of being abandoned. Lower door wide open, upper door open but storm door closed. Officers (six) arrived and cleared the house, Windows are still unlocked and storm windows may be opened as they are not closed in place on nearly all windows. Please make contact with the owner and request that they close all windows and check the two doors so they may be closed and locked. I have mentioned to you in the past, on the lower door, stone wall has fallen and mud prevents storm door to close. This needs attention. Please be more aggressive in your home owner contact. Monitoring this house and follow up on securing the house is now using Police time and resources. Plus my time and others neighbors concern that the house is being entered by homeless and others trespassers. It appears a mess inside and needs attention. If you cannot get results on this homeowner's negligence, see history back to 2004 where the city has sited issues, I will follow up with the Mayor and City legal. Second Report: House at 717 North Maple has been long abandoned, windows are broken and anyone could get in; at risk of becoming a drug house. (Address on map is incorrect - I wish there was a way to enter a street address into the map)
The house at 2615 Rockport looks abandoned. Construction/repairs was being done on it but a large branch fell into the house in the back and now has a large hole in the roof. I'm concerned that the house has fallen into neglect and is now abandoned. Would the city please look into it and let me know what is going on with it? -Lucas
Hello: I am not certain to whom I should report this problem. One of my neighbors (502 Jordan) has a shrub of poison ivy growing in the front yard. The poison ivy shrub is located in front of the house on the southeast corner of the property. Could you please ask the person who owns the house to get rid of this noxious plant? I wonder what can be done about 2102 E. Wimbleton Lane in southeast Bloomington. No one has lived there a several years. Someone does cut the lawn, but the house is aging and in disrepair. In the past months, the gutter over the garage is falling off and the house is becoming a real eye-sore. Can anything be done to locate the owners and have them keep up maintenance on the house?
