Hello, I was passing by the Fields Apartment complex, all around Clarizz, Fenbrooke, I need to check the exact streets. All of their trees lining the sidewalk and street are improperly mulched with root suffocating “mulch volcanoes.” I’ll pass by there again today or tomorrow and send exact street names and photos. I have requested in the past that the trees in the city tree plot desperately need to be trimmed. I'm not sure who does this but I have requested several times and no such luck on them getting trimmed.
Mr. Jesseph works at German-American Bank, and asked that the tree directly outside the bank be trimmed if possible. When the bank lowers its flag to half-mast (which has happened unfortunately often recently), it gets caught in the tree and ruins the flag.
Wanted to see if the parks and rec department could come take a look at the Beech tree on the north side of Maxwell (marker used above). Several really large dead branches that are dangerously falling in a piecemeal way. The overall health of the tree is in steady decline, and it may be easier for the city to remove it now before it is completely rotten. Thanks!

I have a very old soft maple tree in my front yard. I would like to have it pruned but am unsure of who's responsibility it is for 2 reasons: 1 being there are major power lines that are resting on the limbs (close to the trunk of the tree) and 2, I believe the tree is located within 6 ft of the city street and was told that the city owns the 6 foot easement between streets and properties? I would like to have it pruned evenly because of tree's age and weight distribution. Could someone contact me about this?

The fountain drain in front of city hall appears clogged. Gross dirty water is filling the spiral end of the fountain, where the drain is.
Last year I was in contact with Lee Huss via uReport about a tree that needed to be planted (to replace one that died and was removed) in the tree plot by the sidewalk outside 715 West 13th Street. He said he would take care of it this spring. I want to make sure I am still on his radar. Thanks.
The City of Bloomington removed a tree approximately three years ago at the corner of Lincoln and 7th St. We would like to know if the City can plant another tree in that mow strip along 7th Street where the City had removed the tree.
