Since the corrupt,racist and morally bankrupt organization known as Black Lives Matter has shown their true colors by supporting the murder of innocent people along with the rape and murder of women the murder and mutilation of the elderly and the beheading of children, will Hamilton continue to support them? Immediately remove the graffiti from 6th street and remove the banner from the mill. By continuing to support this communist organization, this administration is saying they support terrorist!! For once in your little grease ball life do the right thing. You can take some of the one million dollars for the 40 foot phalic “ode to me” and remove all things related to this organization once and for all. Now we know that all of your under the desk bootlicks like wasson, boldin and zody etc-etc will do everything they can to keep you from seeing this. Nobody wants to say little Johnny is ever wrong about anything. The city of Bloomington can’t be rid of you and your staff soon enough. I am again seeing announcements for new hires for items like safe and civil cities with ZERO mention of the significant LGBTQ community in this town. All deserve safe and civil cities, including LGBTQ residents. A community under intense threat at the highest levels in years. What is the City doing to specifically serve and protect queer community members? Who is the staff member assigned to have expertise and devoted time to this task? And bigger question, what is the City doing to prepare for the Trump administration taking power and attacking the LGBTQ community. What plans are being made? What is the City doing to pledge and realistically defend the rights and livelihood of queer people as politicians attempt to destroy such families and eradicate this group from existence? Don't be blindsided. This will be where queer people go for those who remain in Indiana, some without choice.

Not sure if folk were trying to be nice with a one-size fits approach but with new salary adjustments department heads like CFRD have very little grant/regulatory/technical needs compared to Planning and HAND for instance. And staff sizes such as Clerk and HR also should be a consideration.

For the Mayor's office: Can you please consider posting information somewhere besides Facebook? I should not need an account for that platform just to get information. Post it on the City website, or if you want social media, use something more open source like Bluesky. I appreciate the sharing of information, but wish it was in a different platform. Thank you.

Comments for Administration and City Council members: please note the Bloomington public response and feelings as executive orders from Braun come down at the federal level - it is against the core values and heart of this community. The future is remote and hybrid with emphasis on flexibility as workers are human not cattle. DEI is important in every capacity, not whatever Braun’s “innovation” plan is - that is a buzzword, not DEI. Please please please continue to actually think in a forward direction with all residents, equity, the environment, and future generations in mind. It seems the state is now going backwards; Bloomington needs to continue progressing in a positive and inclusive way. Residents hope to see a public response and show of action that does NOT align with Braun’s recent takeover. We look forward to continuing to participate in a community that does great work for ALL with workers who happily serve us. Thank you for your consideration of these comments and continued work for the actual citizens who make up the community.

For the Mayor's Office: Please consider dropping support for the Twitter/X platform. The owner in an unapologetic Nazi and the city should not be supporting that platform in any capacity. I would also encourage you to discontinue Facebook. The Mayor's office, especially, should be posting information in a more open, accessible format. Consider Bluesky or Mastodon. Thank you.
