The accidents at Smith and Morningside need to stop. Another just happened. PLEASE put solar flashers on the Smith stop signs or even cross flags to get folks to actually stop there appropriately. Dangerous for cars. Deadly for bikers.
100 W 6th St, the double yellow lines have been faded causing some drivers thinking it’s a one way street or not being in the correct lane causing some traffic issues. Please address before IU students come back.
Referencing case #170526...if Renwick gets their City trees trimmed, then we would like the same for our neighborhood. Please begin along Hancock Dr on the opposite side of the road from the park, continue up to Lindbergh and turn left. Continue down the right side. Turn left on W. 12th and then trim alongside the City alley between Oolitic and Lindbergh. As much of this overgrowth, particularly along Hancock, has obscured signs, it would be very helpful. Utility of Bloomington truck cleaned up trash on Monday 7/21/2025, and caused a lawn damage in front of my house right next to a utility cover. I’d like to have someone to check and fix the lawn. Thanks.

This cop 1705 has been blocking the alleyway for over an hour so far (30 minutes is the legal amount) Really bad for business to have a cop car right next to your business door. He does this often and it does not improve the safety and negatively impacts business to have him stationed on Kirkwood in such a manner.

I just wrote another ticket about the stationing of a cop outside my business. (203632) I approached the officer and asked him to keep moving along as to not deter customers. He was immediately condescending, admitted to watching a movie while idling next to my business, and then attempted to brush off my request as “anti cop” which was deflective of the conversation I was trying to have as a tax payer and Kirkwood business owner. It’s not hard to understand that cops are easily an intimidating presence especially in patrol mode right next to your business door. Car #1705
Yard at the house has been overgrown for years. This has been going on for years. Looks great when students are moving in the neighborhood. Why can’t the city do something about it. Why does this person get special treatment? If so then just get rid of CITY CODE.
