Thanks for your gracious response last year when I inquired about this problem. You told me to contact you if it persisted, and it has. The entire street drains from hilltops at the north & south ends of Blue Ridge Court, and accumulates mud and run-off debris right at the same spot on the sidewalk (as you saw last year. The trench did not work, and the mud accumulation is worse. Anything you can do? ~ Curtis Shedlak 812-345-2880

Ms. Becker called to complain that a section of sidewalk on Sare Road between East Rogers Road and Sheerwood Christin Church's drive was caked with mud. I asked Asst. Engineering Services Manager, Rick Alexander, to determine whether it was an erosion control issue. He determined that it was not and stated that the sidewalk just needs cleaned up by the property owner. Ms. Becker would like a call back after an inspection has been completed. The sidewalk is on the south west corner.

The roundabout just east of Sherwood Oaks Church.. Sare road. I reported a piece of concrete there on east side of roundabout..
Sunday I noticed it was still there and wanted to let you know again. It’s not a big deal but I enjoy the roundabouts and this broken concrete is an eyesore
Also the roundabout west of Sherwood Osks church aft High street and Goat park has a broken curb section and concrete chunk on west side of roundabout
Thanks

Accessibility Issue: No Curb Cut.
Intersection of E Covenanter and the entry to Kroger's gas station (unnamed road)
This intersection has no curb cut which forces wheelchair users to go out into the street, which is a traffic hazard and dangerous. Please fix.

Can the sidewalk at xxx East 7th Street be shaved down to eliminate the height difference between the two adjoining slabs? See photo attached. This height difference can be dangerous for westbound cyclists riding on the sidewalk who need to negotiate both a quick right turn and a left turn to enter the SR46 underpass. Now that an asphalt multi-use path has been built at Relato Bloomington at the intersection of Pete Ellis Drive and Longview Avenue, westbound cyclists are more apt to ride on the path/sidewalk vs. the street, and will continue to ride on the sidewalk all the way to the underpass. Cyclists will be going at speed since it is downhill westbound. To negotiate this sidewalk height disparity, while at the same time negotiating a sweeping turn, poses a dangerous situation that can be easily eliminated.

We recently had a tree removed from the spot shown, as well as having a tree trimmed on the other side of our driveway. The tree that was removed was rotted out as it was deemed unsafe. We moved to this location in 2019 with a new baby on the way. Fast forward 2 years and just after the tree was removed by the City of Bloomington, our now 2 y/o plays in front of our house and has now fallen multiple times because of the drop off on the sidewalk due to the tree roots that have lifted the sidewalk. Additionally, small animals have now made this area their home. This is the same problem on the opposite side of our driveway by the electrical boxes due to overgrown root systems of trees that were frankly too large to plant in there specific spots. The lift in the sidewalk from the tree roots has caused a major trip/fall hazards that are at least a 6in drop. Please advise.
