sidewalk very grungy because garage bags dragged across walk to alley dumpster. Business needs to scrub clean. also large uneven crack in sidewalk...dangerous tripping.
The City has run an over-sized pruner along the sidewalk of our backyard, tearing up the ground and my flowers next to the sidewalk (depicted by the yellow circle in the picture). A piece of fence picket (blue arrow) of our neighbor's 2 houses away was torn down and thrown behind our fence. Our next door neighbor's hostas plants were also damaged. I don't know how the City can revive our plants, but the muddy sidewalk and the hanging clippings need to be cleaned up. We have been keeping our section of the sidewalk clear and clean. We appreciate the City trying to clear the entire length of the sidewalk, however an appropriate machinery needs to be used so as not to do more damage than good. The crew had done a very poor job in this case. I hope no heavy pruning machine will be used on the sidewalk in the future, especially after the City had just repaired these cracked sidewalk.

We are having problems with scooters driving on the sidewalk, we would like this parking area removed, it takes valuable space for store sandwich signs (businesses are already struggling) and encourages sidewalk use of scooters. Thank you,

Poisin Ivy is growing on the Woodlawn side. There is also now poison ivy growing across the street at the house on the NE corner of Woodlawn and First. 730 Woodlawn also has honeysuckle plant that is hanging low over the sidewalk. There are generally a lot of weeds in the yard and the sidewalk has a lot of debris on it.

Unsafe curb damage, north edge of Kirkwood between College and Walnut, dead center, opposite the south steps to the Courthouse. This is a trip/stumble hazard, which I know because I fell on my face there at about 4:15pm on 5/1/25. There is other curb damage along the same edge, and I believe the cutout around the lamp post is also a hazard. If anything still hurts in the morning, I will get medical attention.
