Hi! I was just curious if there was any way you all could fill in the mud hole with rocks at the large dog park at Switchyard? My dog always runs straight for the mud and leaves a mess, which keeps us from utilizing the park as much as we would like. There was another muddy spot that was filled in with rocks earlier, and that was a nice addition! Thank you! We love our Bloomington parks!

CBU Eng investigated this on 9/26/2025 and found this to be from the storm system originating from the sloped area near the pool. No action needed. Question: In the photo with thise new case # (the left half of the photo i sent with the original case) there is a access ("manhole") cover much closer to the central path. Is that a cover opening to a storm drain that somehow connects ground water with the white PCP pipe draining in to the Creek? Thanks in advance. Caden Swanson commented on this case. There is a large and active hornets' nest in the juniper tree where the Bryan Park walking trail converges with the Henderson St. sidewalk. The nest is on the east side of the tree and is partially hidden by the branches.
A question about pipe draining into Sheridan Creek. What is draining, from where? Over more than a decade I have observed the bank erode away from the pipe and the concrete support move (or is the pipe pulling away from the bank)? As a frequent Park visitor i am curious about what's going on with the pipe. Thanks for any info you can share.
More uncapped needles on the playground. Trash everywhere. Restrooms a mess with needles. Please do something! More patrols, anything. It's getting out of hand, and making the neighborhood feel unsafe.

Poison ivy next to the court where the balls roll all the time. We went through four balls because we have to switch balls every time we hit the poison. Ivy in an hour and 15 minutes. We've had one player get it so bad they had to go on prednisone. Please weed it.
My son found this needle last week in the parking lot of the Butler Park Gardens. We went back to the visit our garden today and it was still there so I picked it up and put it in the needle box at the park restrooms. This is the second time in a month or so that our children have come dangerously close to used needles. Baseball field is basically unrecognizable as a baseball field because of the weeds.
A birthday party at the splash pad shelter had a pinata on the playground, blocking the equipment and making a mess. They did not clean up and were hostile when asked to move.
