There has been a burnt plastic smell in 9th Street park for months during business hours. I finally caught Bloomington iron & metal in the act. They are using some sort of torch or arc cutter to cut painted metal and it is burning off the enamel as they go. It has pretty much ruined 9th st park. I'm sure this isnt you guys' responsibility, but its your problem (sorry). Thanks!
The photo was taken from the b line, and in person the cloud of smoke is very visible.

Caller complained that the playground at Country View is in disrepair: grass growing under the equipment, inadequate equipment, etc. I'm not even sure this is city property -- obviously not a Parks & Rec-maintained park. Also complaints about crumbling sidewalks, unpaved parking lots, etc.

At Bryan park 2-5 yr old playground the new digger is much too big and unsafe for this age group. My son's arm got smashed under the bucket. 2-5 yr olds can not sit on the seat and reach the ground , let alone the handles. I'm glad the city installed something new but hopefully this digger can be moved to a park for older kids and we can get a much smaller digger in this spot. Thanks!

I was at Lower Cascades park yesterday and the large rope play structure seemed less stable than normal. The blue center support pole was visibly swaying as kids climbed the ropes. I may be wrong, but i don't remember the pole moving on our previous visits to the park.
I just wanted to let you know so someone could take a look.
Thanks!
PS - we love lower cascades park.
