I have a quick question- On 13th St., between Fairview and Jackson, we have gravel shoulders between the paved street and the sidewalks, that are getting pretty worn down/muddy. Is it the Street Dept. responsibility to keep those maintained with fresh gravel, or the homeowner's responsibility? I'd love to have them turned back into treeplots, but I feel like that's a whole different discussion... Any info would be appreciated! Thank you!
Thank you Mister Jackson. Cars are parked properly on N Smith! Not boats yet though :(
Second boat on grass in SE corner of yard on house E side of N Smith between Morningside and highway.
Boat on lawn of 504 n smith. Looks like there is a spot just not in it maybe
2 cars still fully on grass. 3901 E. Morningside. STILL.
3901 E. Morningside: 2 cars, one permanent. 15.32.025 - Parking on an unimproved surface. All areas used for parking shall be asphalt, concrete, or other approved material. Under no circumstances shall a vehicle be parked upon dirt, sand, or grass. (Ord. No. 14-22, ยง 5, 10-29-2014)
A blue van has been parked for several days in a no-parking zone, partially on the grass of my lawn, on the north side of the 400 block of West Driscoll Street. It obscures the view from the alley of traffic coming from the east.
Residents have multiple cars and trucks parked across the full width of the sidewalk bordering their house. This extends beyond any staging or load-up for their food truck, and is a regular parking spot for their SUV, sedan, and guests. I reported this issue via "Blocked Sidewalk", and as a Broadview neighborhood officer I would appreciate a direct update on communication to these neighbors. Thanks so much.
Neighbors still regularly using unimproved surface (lawn) as parking space for one or two vehicles.
