Hi, I'm riding again because the person before couldn't find the dead animal. I reported it is still there next to the Bloomington utilities fire station number 5. As you exit the parking lot, there is a stop sign across the sidewalk from the top from the stop sign is an oak tree and under the oak tree is some flat gray fur that doesn't smell anymore but it is still there. Thank you. Seriously, I just want to say "thank you" to the city for finally cleaning up Duke's huge mess of discarded branches and logs along the west side of S High. It was an infuriating, massive eyesore and termite bait that looked like a WW1 battlefield. Kudos!
Townsend, Inc recently cut trees/shrubbery along the west side of High St, under the power lines. They left huge chunks of logs scattered willy nilly all over the side of the road, and it looks absolutely terrible. Many of the logs are up against the fences of the homes backing up to High St., and could become a source of termites, as well as shelter for wildlife that could cause problems by running into the street. I’ve reported multiple dead deer on this stretch of road, hate to have to report more. Please make Townsend or the utility companies rectify this eyesore? Thanks so much.
When will you ever help us to clean up the mess left behind by Duke and/or the city? We've been asking for at least 6 months. You have blown us off for all this time, claiming your contractors are at fault. This is a LIE. Mayor Hamilton - this is ON YOU! This mess is a garbage pile left behind by your contractors. Clean it up or some of us will make it an election issue for you.
Branches and debris from storm. I assume that the city will not remove debris on the yard proper but there is some debris in the street and a split trunk/branch that poses a threat to the street .
Mr. Clayton's sister, Florence called for him. He says that when we do snow removal we push all the snow and sand into his flower bed and that this can be avoided. There's a big pile of sand there now and he wants to know if we'll remove it. Also says we picked up everyone's leaves this year except his.
Debris from flooding—gravel and asphalt which eroded during the 6/18 storm is covering the street
As a neighborhood, we are requesting that the drain pipes (driveway culverts) be cleaned out so storm water has a place to drain.
Sidewalk at the southwest corner of Queens Way and Montclair is covered in a thick layer of sand and gravel. Can this be swept up please?
