When the curb between the bike lane and car lane was reconstructed gaps were left in the pavement. Generally the pavement repair was not done to the standard usually expected of Bloomington roads.

Good morning, there are 2 enormous pot holes directly in front of our 2 parking spaces and have been watching them continue to increase in depth and size (probably primarily due to the trash trucks that drive right over them twice a week) since we moved in here a year ago. I haven't complained about them previously, but back in November 2024 I had to get help from St. Vincent De Paul to help replace CV joints, ball joints, multiple other parts and ended up having to replace my front axle, as well, directly after having to drive through these potholes to get into our parking spot for a total of approximately $995. St. Vincent De Paul was very generous and helped us by paying $500 towards our bill and I paid the balance. In addition, a few weeks ago, after scraping bottom once again on the Southern most of these two potholes. I ruptured a brake line, lost control of my vehicle temporarily and had to spend another $395. last month to repair that. Unfortunately I am on a fixed income and this caused us to be late again on our rent. I just cannot afford to not say anything now as I am a disabled single mother trying to get my youngest through college at IU Bloomington. Could someone please respond letting me know if there is any reimbursement for damages or recourse I might have for these multiple damages to my vehicle and when approximately these holes might get some attention? I do have receipts from the repairs. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter and your reply to my inquiry as to reimbursement or recourse. Twice in the past 4 months I have had to be late on my rent to continue to have a vehicle to secure food for my family as I am on SSDI and the sole income in our household and am trying to keep my rent current and credit up so as to qualify for a mortgage again in the near future. Hit a pothole on E Moores Pike causing damage to my front right tire.

The city recently did some work that required removing the pavement and repaving. The repaved portion has completely sunk and created a large pothole.

There is a gravel area between 730 Atwater and 725 Hunter where the stones have been displaced causing a large pothole. This has become dangerous for the people living in the surrounding houses because when the hole fills with water and freezes in the winter, it becomes very slippery. Also, small cars bottom out when they hit that pothole, and it can't be avoided. It could use some more gravel brought in as soon as possible.

Very large pothole on the south side of Third Street (right lane). I ran right into it this morning and it flattend my tire, may have ruined my alignment and wheel and nearly caused an accident. This neeeds to be repaired today before someone gets hurt. Please let me know how I may request the City reimburse me for my damages short of filing a lawsuit. Thank you.

Perpetual dip in road. In the south bound lane of Weimer Rd. there is a perpetual pot hole patch eating dip. I have always been grateful for each time it is leveled out, but I notice it comes back again. My concern is that the sewer line runs parallel to this road and was wondering if there is a deeper problem that is eroding the sub-soil causing this reoccurring issue. Thank you

My wife blew a tire this morning on a large pothole on Smith Road, between Moores Pike and E Rogers Road. I believe it is south of St. Remy Drive in the northbound lane of Smith Road.
