Pothole at intersection of Moore's Pike and Smith Road
Pothole at intersection of Moore's Pike and Smith Road
On the corner of Covenanter and high on the right as you’re heading south on high there’s a dangerous drop off into a rocky drainage area that needs to have a guardrail or some type of protection. The road lists in the direction of the drop off and at some point fire and rescue is going to have to fish a car out of the drop off. Not sure how this was allowed to be built without a guardrail. It may be the biggest pothole in the city.
On Friday April 15th, 2022 around 7:35am I was driving through the intersection of W Second Street and S Adams Street in which there was a city water access hole without the lid resulting in a popped/flat tire on my front passenger side. I was wondering if the city could reimburse me for my auto repair bill considering the cause of my flat was a city water access hole where no lid was present.

Caller said: I'm contacting regarding a dangerous pothole near the intersection of South College Mall Road and 3rd Street. So I was driving there this morning, driving at the intersection, and I was on 3rd Street, and near the intersection. There's this pothole, which my, unfortunately, the front right side tire got busted because of that.
The ditch between my driveway and the adjoining driveway is clogged with dirt and debris that I want removed. I can do it, but I don't want to encroach on a neighbor's land or the City of Bloomington land without permission. the ditch is not on the pavement but may lie within the City's right-of-way, and I may need your permission or guidance to clear the drainage ditch and empty the culvert underneath my driveway. Is University Street an easement or a fee title? We also have a dead ash tree a yard from the pavement on the lot line, probably due to the Asian emerald ash borer, an invasive pest, and I have other live ash trees that I would protect. What are the rules for removing the hazard tree?

Pothole at the end of my driveway, as well as others on S. Cedarwood Circle. My address is 3417 S. Cedarwood Circle. The area has been patched several times over the last few years. The hole is about 15" in diameter, and a couple of inches deep.
